The resources listed below are provided in order to assist students with understanding the cost of attending Trident and the types of financial aid that may be available to cover those costs for those who qualify.
Net Price Calculator
Trident is pleased to provide a guide to assist in early financial planning for college. The Net Price Calculator and shopping sheet will provide a preliminary estimate of federal, state and institutional aid eligibility, to help families gauge what aid the student may be awarded and to make arrangements to cover the cost of attendance. Financial Aid Shopping Sheet
The Financial Aid Shopping Sheet serves as a consumer tool that participating institutions will use to notify students about their financial aid package. It is a standardized form that is designed to simplify the information that prospective students receive about costs and financial aid so that they can easily compare institutions and make informed decisions about where to attend school.
“Paying for College”
Students considering how to pay for college can visit the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s “Paying for College” Website. This site serves as an informative source to assist students in understanding financial options, comparing financial aid plans, and learning how to repay student debt.
The College Scorecard
The College Scorecard designed by the U.S. Department of Education is an interactive consumer tool that assists prospective students and their families in making informed decisions about which college to attend. This tool evaluates institution features such as costs, graduation rate, loan default rate, median borrowing, and employment.
Note that the information included in the scorecard may not apply to all students. Also note that the 6-year graduation rate published by the Department of Education in the College Scorecard is not accurate. Trident has submitted accurate graduation data on first-time, full-time students to the Department of Education and expects the College Scorecard to be updated accordingly.
